My thoughts to Richard Cory

 When I first read Richard Cory I didn’t get why he would kill himself he had such a perfect lifestyle, but it wasn’t in till I was starting to memorize the pome when I was repeating it I was starting understand the meaning of the poem. I think it means money doesn’t give you happiness and that people thought  he was happy because he had everything but some times that’s the problem when you have everything your not looking forward to it because you already have it. Like for cleaning the house for a month I got the shoes I always wanted and it felt good because I know that it wasn’t just handed to me.

Essay Du Jean Valjean

  Jean Valjean  is a  dynamic character because he changes throughout the book. When Jean Valjean was first introduced in the book he was very humble he cared about his sisters kids and his sister he worked for them but they struggled to afford food. The kids and him and his sister where starving so Jean Valjean decided to steal a  loaf of bread he got caught and sent to prison he was treated really poorly and unfairly. Which made him cold hearted and started to despise society.     Another example, is when Jean Valjean escape prison he was looking for a place to stay he had money but no one would let him stay because they knew that he was a convict.He gave up so he slept on a bench until an old lady come up to him and asked why he was sleeping on the bench. He explained why and she told him to go to the bishop. The bishop let him stay for free and fed him and warmth him. When the bishop was asleep Jean Valjean stole silver from him and fled. My goal between now and June is to have a schedule that works for me for my homework .Also to post more frequently on my blog and on my google docs.
